Overview
Grasshopper has been working with renewable energy company Vattenfall for several years in Wales to help raise the profile of the socio-economic impact its projects are having within local communities.
What we did
Grasshopper worked on a short media relations campaign to help raise the profile of Vattenfall’s Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm at a regional level. This required communicating its positive impact on communities, the environment and economy. Tactics included a mix of news on community investment, case study development and social media.
Outcomes
Coverage included the Western Mail, Wales Online, Business Green and a five minute feature on ITV Wales’ weekend news slot. The campaign had an estimated reach of +2.1m people.
